PrayerCenter - View Prayer Request

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

Deliverance
Apostle Brown.  Please pray for my son.  I was there when Bishop Bloomer was there and you two held a 2 night deliverance teaching.  Very powerful.  I learned a lot.  Glory to God.  My son was still incarcerated at the time however he is now home.  He has been in and out of jail/ prison for the past 7 years now.  Please pray for him.  He was doing fine the first 2-3 weeks when he came home.  Now he has started drinking, popping over the counter cold, congestion and cough pills again.  I know Bishop Bloomer talked about the spirit of discernment and praying in the holy spirit so that you are not calling out the wrong demons so I want to be careful in asking for prayer as there appear to be co-occurring disorders(many demons).    This appears to be the issue with a lot of our young african american males between the ages of 16-30.  There is an underlying issue that is not dealt with so they try to self medicate with drugs, alcohol, etc. to treat the mental health condition and they find themselves in and out of jail and prison increasing the trauma in their life.  It's hard to get them into therapy to get the help they need and the system does not make it easy when they do not have medical insurance.  Probation and parole are supposed to send them to get what they call a TASC assessment.  My son got out in April.  Why would they wait until July to setup his first assessment (indicating the program was full).  My son needed that program in April to start receiving treatment and help.  Their hope is that they re-offend within the first couple of months of being home and get locked back up before even getting the help they need.  They are not helping these young men.  Half of them don't even make it to the initial assessment because they are locked back up before their first visit.  Sorry for such a long email.  Thank you for praying for my son.
